Experiment Setup Revamp

This project focused on enhancing the experiment detail page to better align with users' workflows for setting up and reviewing analytics. The redesign introduced a structured setup flow, intuitive edit modes, and an all-in-one viewing experience of the completed configuration. By streamlining the process and making key elements more accessible, this redesign aimed to improve user efficiency and clarity throughout the experiment lifecycle.

Newer users have difficulty selecting the right metric, so surfacing the most used first helps reduce cognitive load
Users can add variants, change names, add JSON payloads
Prior UX forced users to define whether they were targeting specific segments or all users with a all-in-one form. Now there's a clear binary and simplified user selection by integrating the same segment control used for charts..
Audience, distribution, and rollout had been combined in one UI in the old experience which made it overwhelming for novice users. In this guided approach, they are separated so each section is clear.
